Role responsibilities
- Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax computations and VAT returns
- Supporting audit assignments where required, including fieldwork and documentation
- Maintaining accurate client records and liaising directly with clients to request information
- Collaborating with senior team members to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work
- Keeping up to date with accounting standards and tax legislation
- Progressing towards full qualification with structured support and mentoring

Candidate requirements
- Part-qualified ACA or ACCA, or AAT qualified with intention to progress
- Experience working in a UK accountancy practice
- Confident preparing accounts and supporting tax compliance
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Eagerness to learn, grow and contribute to a positive team environment
- Experience with cloud accounting software is a plus
