This is an excellent opportunity to join my client, a trusted, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for their expertise across the civil and structural engineering landscapes, as well as their passion for sustainability. They are seeking a talented, experienced Senior Hydraulic Modeller, willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside a growing team of experts, based in the lively, culturally-diverse Capital City of London.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Hydraulic Modeller include:
- Working on an array of Flood Risk, Surface Water, Drainage, and Airport-related projects for clientele across the public and private sectors
- Contributing to River Restoration and Flood Alleviation projects
- Authoring Flood Risk Assessments for Zones 1, 2, and 3
- Producing Surface Water Management Plans, in addition to Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategies
- Flood Risk Mapping and Modelling, using the appropriate software (including TuFlow and Flood Modeller)
- Putting together Residential Drainage and Sewerage designs, using Causeway Flow and MicroDrainage across a number of projects
- Preparing Drainage Area Plans for submission
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydraulic Modeller include:
- A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering (or similar, relevant discipline)
- Demonstrable experience of having worked for a UK-based consultancy or Local Authority, specifically in a design role
- Extensive experience of authoring Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Surface Water Drainage Strategies, and Hydraulic Modelling
- Outstanding proficiency with the relevant software packages, including Flood Modeller, Tuflow, and Causeway Flow
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organisational skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydraulic Modeller include:
- Some experience completing Drainage Designs
- Hold Chartership Status, or proactively working to attain this
- Prior experience of having lead design projects and/or a team
- Good knowledge of the local area and surrounding region
