Our client is seeking a Core Java Low Latency Developer to support a major transformation of their distribution connectivity platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise low-latency Core Java systems with microsecond-level performance focus
- Measure, analyse, and tune end-to-end latency
- Support migration from a legacy platform to a new low-latency architecture
- Build and maintain pricing distribution connectivity across venues
- Deliver significant FIX protocol integration work
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong Core Java development skills
- Proven experience with low-latency system design and optimisation
Hands on experience with:
- Low-latency collections
- Chronicle Queue
- Agrona Ring Buffer - will be tested)
- UDP messaging (highly desirable)
- Solid FIX protocol experience
- Basic FX knowledge
