An established, forward-thinking building services consultancy in Farringdon is seeking a Senior MEP BIM Coordinator to join their dynamic design and engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BIM professional to take a leading role in delivering high-quality projects across both the commercial and residential sectors.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key part in coordinating MEP services within a multidisciplinary BIM environment. Working closely with engineers, architects, and project managers, the Senior MEP BIM Coordinator will ensure the efficient production, management, and coordination of BIM models to deliver accurate and fully integrated designs.
This position is initially offered on a 3-month fixed-term contract, paid at the permanent role rate, with the clear intention of transitioning to a full-time permanent position upon completion of the initial term.
Responsibilities
Lead MEP coordination using Revit and Navisworks across multiple commercial and residential projects.
Oversee model production and ensure adherence to BIM Execution Plans and company standards.
Collaborate with the wider design team to resolve coordination issues efficiently.
Support BIM implementation and development within the business.
Mentor junior staff and promote best practices in BIM and digital delivery.
Requirements
Proven experience as an MEP BIM Coordinator or Senior BIM Technician.
Strong technical knowledge of building services systems (Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health).
Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant BIM tools.
Excellent communication and coordination skills within a design team environment.
Experience working on commercial and residential projects within the UK.
