Provide leadership and support to junior team members, including engineers, technicians, and graduates
Assist with team training, quality assurance, and workload coordination
Develop and implement parking and traffic management schemes in accordance with current legislation and guidance
Manage projects effectively, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
Communicate with a range of stakeholders, including members of the public, client representatives, councillors, and other elected officials
Use of parking design software such as Parkmap and Signplot is beneficial
Maintain project documentation to meet quality standards and assist in continuous service improvement
Collaborate with other disciplines across wider projects to broaden expertise
Respond to client and customer enquiries, ensuring a professional and helpful service
About You:
Degree or HND/HNC in a relevant field (preferably engineering), or equivalent practical experience
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role is preferred
Strong understanding of traffic and parking design principles
Proven experience in managing and delivering active travel or traffic schemes
Proficiency in AutoCAD for highway or transport-related designs (or equivalent software)
