Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and support to junior team members, including engineers, technicians, and graduates

  • Assist with team training, quality assurance, and workload coordination

  • Develop and implement parking and traffic management schemes in accordance with current legislation and guidance

  • Manage projects effectively, ensuring delivery on time and within budget

  • Communicate with a range of stakeholders, including members of the public, client representatives, councillors, and other elected officials

  • Use of parking design software such as Parkmap and Signplot is beneficial

  • Maintain project documentation to meet quality standards and assist in continuous service improvement

  • Collaborate with other disciplines across wider projects to broaden expertise

  • Respond to client and customer enquiries, ensuring a professional and helpful service



About You:

  • Degree or HND/HNC in a relevant field (preferably engineering), or equivalent practical experience

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role is preferred

  • Strong understanding of traffic and parking design principles

  • Proven experience in managing and delivering active travel or traffic schemes

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for highway or transport-related designs (or equivalent software)
