The Retail arm of a London Market Insurer is actively hiring for a Senior Reinsurance Technician with a Credit Control background to join the team in a pivotal role ensuring the rigorous management of reinsurance technical accounts across Europe.You will be part of a team of 5 based in their brand new offices in central London and will have oversight of an offshore team providing day-to-day support. Responsibilities will include; 
  • Oversight of the settlement of reinsurance premiums and ensuring robust credit control process in in place and followed
  • Ensure premium payables and reinsurance recoveries collection targets are continuously achieved
  • Lead the set up and review of reinsurance contracts, slips, premium allocations and cover notes issued by third parties.
  • Challenge processes and develop action plans to enhance efficiency, propose solutions and strengthen controls
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and meet business goals. 
You will have;
  • Significant experience in the Reinsurance sector and possess strong knowledge of technical reinsurance principles  
  • Proven expertise in credit control within Insurance/Reinsurance 
  • Proactive approach towards process improvement and able to provide examples of this 
  • Open-minded and adaptable to fast growing and changing environments
  • Thrive in a highly collaborative environment
