Key Responsibilities:
As aSenior Sous Chefat China Tang, you will:
- Support the Head Chef in overseeing the kitchen operation and managing day-to-day service.
- Lead, train and inspire a team of chefs to deliver high-quality, authentic Chinese cuisine.
- Assist in menu planning, development, and cost control.
- Ensure consistent standards of food presentation, hygiene, and safety across all sections.
- Maintain kitchen discipline and a strong sense of teamwork.
- Take responsibility in the absence of the Head Chef.
What Were Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Senior Wok Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume Chinese kitchen.
- In-depth knowledge of Chinese (Cantonese) cuisine and traditional techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
