Arthur is partnered with a Global (Re)Insurance company who is seeking a driven and analytical individual to join their credit team as a Senior Underwriting Analyst. You will be a key part of the underwriting process, supporting the evaluation and underwriting of assumed risks through detailed risk analysis, model development, and system improvements, while also contributing to new product development and strategic portfolio analytics.Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical analysis and modelling to support underwriting of assumed reinsurance and capital markets risks.
  • Help evaluate, implement, and enhance internal and third-party risk models.
  • Support improvements to systems for exposure management, underwriting, and reporting.
  • Contribute to research projects, benchmarking, and portfolio analysis.
  • Assist in developing reporting tools at both deal and portfolio levels.
  • Support efforts to strengthen our presence in reinsurance and capital markets.
We’re looking to speak with highly motivated individuals with a strong academic background in a relevant field and experience in the (re)insurance or broking sector - ideally within financial risks or credit. You’ll bring strong problem-solving skills, advanced Excel capabilities (with SQL as a plus), and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced underwriting environment. Excellent communication, collaboration, and a confident, professional presence are essential.
