SharePoint Engineer – London (6-Month FTC)
About the Role
Viqu is partnering with a leading global law firm to recruit a SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a 6-month fixed term. The role will focus on optimizing, managing, and evolving the firm’s SharePoint environment (on-premise and Azure cloud), ensuring high-performing, resilient services for users and business teams.
Key Responsibilities of the Sharepoint Engineer  Â
- Act as the SharePoint SME, providing expert guidance across on-premise and Azure cloud environments.
- Lead platform upgrades, deployments, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Integrate SharePoint with SSO, MFA, and Azure services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SharePoint and web platform issues.
- Mentor and coach team members on SharePoint best practices.
- Maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and CMDB updates to improve service efficiency.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance platform resilience and performance.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a SharePoint Engineer with on-premise and cloud (Azure) environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SSO, MFA, and Azure integrations desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proactive, analytical, and able to recommend service improvements.
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members.
