A large market-leading maintenance provider is seeking an experienced shift engineer with a background in building services for a client-facing role in the City of London.
The position involves working on a 12-hour shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00, with responsibilities including all maintenance-related duties on-site.
Key duties include performing PPMs, handling reactive calls, testing emergency lights, and conducting checks on AHUs, FCUs, and generators.
Candidates must possess full electrical or mechanical certification, a clean DBS, and experience in facilities/building service maintenance, along with strong communication skills.
The salary for this position is competitive, and applicants should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in the field.

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a large market leading maintenance provider who are seeking an experienced shift engineer with experience in building services to work in a highly client facing environment in the City of London.

The role is working on a 12 hour shift basis on a 07:00 - 19:00 and 19:00 - 07:00 rota and within the role you will be responsible for all maintenance related duties within the site.

Duties:

PPM's
Reactive calls
AHU's and FCU's
Emergency light testing
Lamping
Single and 3 phase power
Generator checks
Motors
Basic plumbing
BMS checks
External lighting
Dealing with sub-contractors

Requirements:

Full electrical or mechanical certification
Clean DBS
Experience within facilities/building service maintenance
Good communication skills
Good references
Hands on knowledge of plant listed
