Tax Manager

Reed Practice are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Tax Manager based in Finchley Central. This role involves a blend of tax compliance and advisory responsibilities, with a focus on both personal and corporate tax management.

Location: Finchley Central

Salary: Circa £70,000

Job Type: Full-time

What You'll Do:

  • Manage a diverse client portfolio
  • Oversee the preparation of ATED, P11D, and complex Corporation Tax returns.
  • Provide support to the audit and accounts teams and assist with complex VAT queries.
  • Deliver high-level tax advice across various client sectors including corporate entities, SMEs, and individuals.
  • Strategize on corporate restructuring and tax-efficient structuring.
  • Proactively develop tax strategies to manage clients' tax affairs effectively.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with clients
  • Manage day-to-day client interactions
  • Conduct client meetings to discuss strategies, planning, and compliance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior tax staff
  • Stay updated with tax legislation changes
  • Develop and conduct tax internal training sessions

Who You Are:

  • Preferably CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years in tax practice, with a strong foundation in both compliance and advisory roles.
  • Proven track record of managing client portfolios and delivering high-quality tax services.
  • Experienced in leading and training junior team members.
  • Exceptional knowledge of UK tax laws.
  • Proficient in tax compliance software and general accounting systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex tax issues clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
