This pivotal role involves overseeing the preparation and submission of personal self-assessment tax returns, providing strategic tax advice to clients, and supporting the leadership team in managing and developing client relationships.Key responsibilities of the Tax Manager will include:
  • Managing a client portfolio for self-assessment.
  • Managing personal tax compliance, ATED and P11D returns.
  • Providing high-level tax advice to a range of clients, including corporate, SME, and individual clients.
  • Providing support to team members on complex tax matters, including Corporation Tax returns and VAT queries. 
  • Delivering high-level tax planning and advisory services.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, offering advice to support their business objectives.
  • Attending client meetings to discuss tax planning, compliance and strategy.
  • Leading and mentoring junior staff.
The ideal Tax Manager will have:
  • CTA qualification is preferred.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a tax-focused role.
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of clients and providing high-quality tax advisory services.
  • Strong technical knowledge across UK tax compliance and advisory.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
