Trainee Damper Engineer

Up to £32,000 

London and surrounding 

Full time | Permanent | 37.5hours per week - You may be expected to Co-operate when requested to undertake period of overtime and on the on call rota once qualified.

Do you have experience working with power tools? 

Attega Group is currently partnering  with our client in recruiting a Trainee Damper Engineer  to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to assist the lead engineer in troubleshooting, maintain and repair smoke and fire dampers

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £32,000 depending on experience, plus Christmas shutdown, 25 days holiday, company van and fuel card 

This role is full time and permanent. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8am -4.30pm 

Your responsibilities will include

  • Attend Customer sites to carry out the service of smoke, fire dampers and plant equipment with a lead engineer. 
  • Disassemble and reassemble damper equipment to check for worn or malfunctioning components
  • Providing technical support to customer and end users when needs
  • Seek technical guidance from more experienced team members    


The ideal candidate:

  • Full clean UK drivers license
  • Have experience working with power tools 
  • Have experience working from heights
