About the Role:
We have an opening for a Weighbridge Supervisor to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the efficient day to day operations of the weighbridges, ensuring routine maintenance and repairs are carried out and handling any queries from drivers, clients and the Local Boroughs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-to-one training for crow's nest operators at the Ecopark and oversee Weighbridge/SCADA operations outside core hours.
- Monitor and maintain all weighbridge equipment, provide first-line support, and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
- Resolve vehicle registration and transaction queries to minimize delays and ensure accurate month-end billing.
- Visit remote sites monthly for operational checks, maintenance planning, and staff training.
- Manage Energy Centre stock levels and maximize commercial capacity opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Security Contractor to ensure adequate weekend and holiday cover.
- Propose system improvements, monitor budget expenditure, and prepare reports as needed.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with experience in operating Weighbridges who meet the below criteria:
- You must be available to work on a 4 week rotating shift pattern from Monday to Friday
- Have very strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively, efficiently and courteously with all site users
- Good numeracy and IT skills
- Ability to work with systems; e.g. Excel spreadsheets and D365
