The Ideal Year 6 Teacher Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE or equivalent
Be an Early Career Teacher or an experienced teacher with a strong track record in KS2
Have recent experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and a nurturing, inclusive teaching style
Be confident in preparing pupils for KS2 SATs, with a focus on progress and wellbeing
Be reflective, collaborative, and committed to ongoing professional development
Have a creative, proactive approach to delivering an engaging and supportive curriculum
