6th Form SEN Teacher

Location: Harrow, West London
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: 195 - 255 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed Term (September 2025 - July 2026)

SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a fantastic, modern secondary special needs school in Harrow to recruit a flexible and enthusiastic 6th Form Teacher for the full academic year starting September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about supporting young people with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The role focuses on delivering a well-rounded and engaging curriculum to post-16 learners, helping to prepare them for life beyond school.

• Deliver a broad and balanced curriculum to 6th Form students with special educational needs

• Follow specialist subject lesson plans provided by experienced subject teachers (e.g. Maths, Science, English)

• Support students in developing both academic and life skills in a nurturing environment

• Work closely with a strong and supportive team of SEN professionals

• Use creativity, patience, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of learners

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience in an educational setting

• Has experience working with students with SEND or a strong interest in special education

• Is a great communicator, able to build strong relationships with students and colleagues

• Can follow instructions and work collaboratively with subject specialists and support staff

• Is flexible, patient, and adaptable in a dynamic learning environment

• Demonstrates a genuine desire to make a meaningful impact on students' lives

• Warm, supportive, and inclusive school community
