Grounds Maintenance Operative needed in East London paying £17.05 per hr ref 451082

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Clean offices, training rooms, staff canteens, locker rooms, toilets, and public conveniences to a high standard.
    • Monitor and replenish stocks of cleaning supplies and equipment.
    • Safely operate a utility vehicle or cycle within the grounds.
    • Carry out grass cutting using a variety of industrial motorised machinery.
    • Weed and maintain rose beds, flower beds, shrub borders, and tree rings.
    • Rake leaves and grass, sweep roadways and paths to maintain a tidy appearance.
    • Lay turf and top up sunken graves to ensure a respectful and professional presentation.
    • Plant roses, shrubs, and flowers using correct horticultural techniques.
    • Provide assistance and guidance to visitors with sensitivity and respect for the bereaved.
