Our client, is actively seeking a Planning Officer on a contracted basis.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing development applications, ensuring compliance with local planning regulations and guidelines
  • Conducting site visits to assess the potential impact of proposed developments
  • Preparing and presenting detailed reports on planning applications and policies
  • Providing professional advice on development management and planning matters
  • Engaging with stakeholders, including the public, developers, and government agencies
  • Facilitating public meetings and consultations regarding planning proposals
  • Ensuring efficient and effective processing of planning applications
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of planning activities and decisions


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in development management within the planning sector
  • Strong understanding of local planning regulations and policies
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to conduct thorough site visits and assessments
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
