I'm working with an established international bank, based in London, who are looking for an experienced Operations Officer to join their high performing operations function. As Operations Officer, you will play a vital part in ensuring seamless transactional processing, client support, and risk management, while also contributing to exciting project initiatives like ISO20022 migration and e-banking development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle international and domestic payments (MT1xx, MT2xx, ISO20022)
- Monitor real-time balances and manage queues for smooth payment flows
- Deliver customer support on payment queries and balance enquiries
- Case management for held or returned funds and AML investigations
- Produce insightful management information and participant account reporting
- Execute project support activities including UAT and system testing
- Collaborate with HO teams and internal stakeholders to ensure process compliance
- Champion internal controls and support conduct risk management
What We're Looking For:
- Strong experience in international payments and central cash clearing (essential)
- Proficient in SWIFT, MS Office and operational cash handling
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage time under pressure
- Fluent in Mandarin
