City & Capital is proud to partner with a dynamic and rapidly expanding property finance lender, currently seeking a proactive and dynamic Graphic Designer. You’ll work closely with the Deputy Cheif of Marketing, Senior Marketing Manager and Senior Digital marketing manager, within a growing team of marketing and graphic design professionals, executing high level briefs and concepts to generate leads creatively for the wider company.

With the company having doubled the size of its UK operations for six consecutive years, their portfolio includes a range of property finance products such as bridging loans, commercial mortgages/BTL, and development exit loans—catering to property professionals including developers and investors.

About the Role

As a vital member of the marketing team, you'll act as the creator, helping to maintain the momentum of the scale of innovation in this department during this exciting period of expansion. This role offers tremendous scope for progression, with a clear path toward senior opportunities as the company follows a strong promote-from-within policy- there are many examples of this within your own team.

You’ll utilise your technological abilities and your out of the box thinking skills to seamlessly collaborate on large scale project. This is a graphic design job where the scope of design responsibilities can be incredibly varied. From designing an office poster to a dynamic centrepiece for an events campaign or roadshow.

Key Responsibilities

Our client is looking for someone with passion and a talent for design to join them on their journey, to develop their brand and showcase their personality and experience to wider markets. Your typical responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Develop and deliver creative, impactful designs for both digital and print media based on initial briefs.
  • Produce final artwork files for print and digital platforms, ensuring adherence to specifications.
  • Contribute design insights during campaign planning and strategy discussions.
  • Collaborate with the existing Graphic Designer to take projects from concept through to final delivery.
  • Design responsive graphics and assets to support content across the organisation’s website.
  • Maintain and update a digital asset management system, ensuring efficient organisation and retrieval of visual assets.
  • Create and maintain user-centric, visually engaging webpages that enhance the client experience.
  • Work closely alongside another Graphic Designer, Marketing Manager, Digital Manager, and Deputy CoM on a wide range of design projects.
  • Design and produce quarterly sales assets including brochures, reports, and pitch decks.
  • Create ad-hoc sales support materials tailored to the needs of the sales team.
  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistent and thoughtful application of brand guidelines across all communications.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the brand identity and the ongoing refinement of brand guidelines.
  • Provide creative input for new initiatives, campaigns, and cross-functional projects.
  • Support video production, including filming and editing of short-form content.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience designing corporate, digital and print media. Also to have had experience communicating with senior and high-level executive staff. Experience within a property finance lender or broker or within the realms of the wider financial market is desirable but not required.

Expectations

  • Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design (preferred)
  • High level proficiency in Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere/AfterEffects).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Powerpoint.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
  • A high impact portfolio.
  • Ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong time management skills, proving the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A keen eye for detail.

On Offer:

Our client is looking to pay up to ÂŁ65k as a basic salary, however salary will be completed by access to a favourable bonus scheme to, which will significantly increase annual earnings.

This role will be based in our clients plush London office where you will work in collaboration with the senior members of the team to develop and grow.
