SANZA Teaching Agency are delighted to be supporting a forward thinking and inclusive primary school to recruit a dynamic and highly skilled and experienced School Business Manager. This is a pivotal leadership role within the Senior Leadership Team, where you will be responsible for overseeing all non-teaching aspects of school life to ensure the smooth, efficient, and effective running of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic management of the school's finances, HR, and operational functions
  • Oversight of premises, facilities, and health & safety compliance
  • Leading and managing a team of 5-8 support staff
  • Contributing to whole-school leadership and development as a member of SLT

Person Specification:

  • Extensive experience in leadership, financial and HR management
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to lead, motivate and develop staff
  • A relevant qualification or willingness to work towards one, such as:
    • Level 4-6 in Business or School Administration
    • ADSBM (Advanced Diploma in School Business Management)
    • Finance or HR qualifications (desirable)
