School Business Manager(ASAP Start)
Location: Ealing, West London
Pay: £58,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience and/or qualifications) Temp to Perm

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated School Business Manager to join a forward-thinking Alternative Provision in Ealing. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, professional confidence, and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people.

As part of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the school. You will work closely with the Headteacher to lead finance, operations, compliance, infrastructure and support services, ensuring the school remains efficient, well-managed and inspection-ready.

This role offers the chance to make a real impact in a dynamic educational setting. You will work collaboratively with local and national schools, external agencies, and wider educational partnerships.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has proven leadership experience in financial and/or operational management, ideally within a school environment.

  • Understands school policies, compliance requirements and the operational needs of an educational setting.

  • Brings strong financial and commercial judgement with the ability to lead business planning.

  • Can confidently lead and develop high-performing teams across various operational areas.

  • Is solutions-focused, collaborative and able to work closely with the Headteacher to deliver strategic priorities.

  • Understands how effective operations support excellent teaching, learning and pupil experience.

  • Is enthusiastic, driven and committed to contributing to the wider life of the school.

  • Will actively promote and uphold the school’s values within the community.

About the role:
The successful candidate will act as a trusted strategic partner to the Headteacher, driving operational excellence and long-term planning. You will oversee finance, compliance, infrastructure and support services, ensuring school resources are effectively aligned with its vision and priorities.
