Technical Director - Civil Engineering

We are currently working with a leading, privately owned, medium-sized consultancy to recruit a Technical Director to lead their Civil Engineering team in London.
With over 400 staff nationally and a growing presence in the capital, the London office now boasts a team of over 50 professionals, including a strong civil engineering team of 8. As Technical Director, you will take full responsibility for the Civils team-overseeing project delivery, managing staff and resources, and driving technical excellence.
There is currently a healthy workload in place, predominantly focused on residential and commercial projects. A key part of this role will involve working on small estate roads and drainage schemes. In the longer term, experience or interest in business development will be highly valued, with the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the London office.
Requirements:
- Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng)
- Strong experience in the design and delivery of small estate roads and drainage infrastructure
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- A background in residential and commercial civil engineering projects
- Business development experience (preferred but not essential)
