Construction Health & Safety Advisor (Senior Health and Safety Officer)

Location: London – 2 days office (Tower Hamlets & London Bridge), 3 days on-site (mainly South East London)

Salary: Up to £45,000 plus company vehicle and fuel card

Hyde is looking for a Construction Health & Safety Advisor (Senior Health and Safety Officer) to take the lead in shaping a safer, smarter working environment across our London Property Maintenance operations. As a Construction Health & Safety Advisor (Senior Health and Safety Officer) at Hyde, you’ll be a trusted technical lead — delivering training, conducting inspections, and driving continuous improvement. Working closely with contractors, managers, and operatives, you’ll help embed safe systems of work and strengthen our safety culture from the ground up.

Key Duties

  • Deliver safe systems of work across Property Maintenance London.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and investigate incidents.
  • Lead health and safety training and toolbox talks.
  • Update and improve policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Provide technical guidance on H&S projects and deputise for the H&S Manager.
