As the Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health and safety strategies, systems, and processes across the business. This is a stand-alone position reporting into senior leadership, offering autonomy and the opportunity to shape the H&S culture from the ground up.

Description
- Overseeing health and safety compliance across multiple UK sites including warehouse and transport.
- Conducting risk assessments, audits, and site inspections.
- Leading accident investigations and implementing preventive measures.
- Delivering training and fostering a proactive health and safety culture.
- Acting as the main point of contact for all regulatory bodies and insurance-related queries.
- Collaborating with operational teams to ensure continuous improvement and best practice
Profile
- IOSH & NEBOSH General Certificate
- Strong background in logistics, warehousing, or food distribution
- Proven track record of improving health and safety culture within a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach and the ability to work independently
Job Offer
- Salary of £50,000 - £55,000 p/a, depending on experience
