As the Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health and safety strategies, systems, and processes across the business. This is a stand-alone position reporting into senior leadership, offering autonomy and the opportunity to shape the H&S culture from the ground up.

With continued growth and expansion across the UK, they are seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and elevate their H&S agenda across all operations.

Description

  • Overseeing health and safety compliance across multiple UK sites including warehouse and transport.
  • Conducting risk assessments, audits, and site inspections.
  • Leading accident investigations and implementing preventive measures.
  • Delivering training and fostering a proactive health and safety culture.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for all regulatory bodies and insurance-related queries.
  • Collaborating with operational teams to ensure continuous improvement and best practice

Profile

  • IOSH & NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Strong background in logistics, warehousing, or food distribution
  • Proven track record of improving health and safety culture within a fast-paced environment
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
  • A hands-on, pragmatic approach and the ability to work independently
