Full time (45 hours contract)
£50,000 - £60,000 per annum

What you will do:
- Mentor and lead your team from the front
- Overseeing the operation of the restaurant and Deli, ensure the smooth running of every service
- Drive the internal development of employees both vocationally and, where possible, assist in their personal development and wellbeing
- Ensure that standards of service are maintained within all departments of the restaurant
- Develop a world class work environment for our employees with care, compassion and development at its core
- Ensure that financial budgets are adhered to and that targets are set, communicated to the team and that everyone works together to achieve them
- Ensure that standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained throughout the building and our employees
- Hire and train all new recruits ensuring the high standards, strong work ethic and professional discipline are instilled from day one
- Embody the values and principles of the company. Work with pride and instill pride in your team
- Create an inclusive workplace where all ideas and opinions are actively sought and acknowledged
- Rota management
- Ensure all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively
- Ensure quality control and maintenance of food, drink and service standards
- Generate ideas for streamlining and improving customer service
- Understand appropriate use of comps and ensure correct controlling procedures are maintained
- Develop a learning culture and ensure that all team members feel valued, and achievement is recognised.
- Ensure all new employees follow an induction program
- Manage all employees in line with the agreed skills and standards, giving regular feedback and appraisals
- Get involved in any HR matters on behalf of staff as and when needed.
Who you will be:
- Previous experience of working as an Assistant General Manager within a busy hospitality business
