As the General Manager for this premium dining concept, you will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for excellence, driving business success, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This position requires a leader with a passion for the culinary arts and a talent for creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
2. Key Responsibilities ??Operational & Leadership ManagementOversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas.
Hire, train, and manage staff, including conducting performance appraisals, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
Ensure the highest standards of food quality and customer service.
Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Address customer feedback with professionalism and care.
Manage the restaurants budget, including forecasting, monitoring, and reducing expenses while maintaining high-quality service.
Develop and implement business strategies aimed at promoting the restaurants growth.
Analyse and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability.
Organise marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes.
Drive the restaurant's marketing and advertising initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and community partners.
Represent the restaurant in community and industry events.
Prepare reports on staff performance, customer satisfaction, financial targets, and other key metrics.
Experience: Proven experience as a General Manager (or senior management role) in a premium, high-volume restaurant.
Leadership: Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.
Acuity: Strong financial acumen with experience in budgets, cost control, and sales analysis.
Attitude: A calm, solution-focused approach under pressure, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Passion: A deep passion for hospitality, food, and drink, with the ability to share that enthusiasm with guests and the team.
