My client is seeking a reliable, organised, and personable Part-Time Medical Administrator to join a friendly and professional clinical team based near Chelsea Bridge. This is a key front-of-house and administrative role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
The ideal candidate will live locally and be available to work either a daily morning shift or three full days a week, as outlined above.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a welcoming and professional manner
- Print and prepare important test results for clinicians
- Book and manage patient appointments using the practice management system
- Take payments and issue receipts as required
- Respond to patient queries by phone and email in a prompt, clear, and courteous manner
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to cover lunch breaks and ensure continuity of service
- Assist with general administrative tasks to support the clinical team
Requirements:
- Previous administration experience - medical ideal but not essential
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Comfortable using computer systems and managing electronic records
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality
- Local candidates preferred due to the on-site nature of the role
