Key Responsibilities
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive the highest level of care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to patient inquiries via phone in a friendly and informative manner.
- Acting as a primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through their journey.
- Booking surgical appointments and consultations efficiently.
- Managing invoicing processes for deposits and balances.
- Ensuring patient needs are met during their visits.
- Coordinating essential items such as glasses for patients.
- Accurately updating patient records in the database.
- Contributing to a supportive and collaborative clinic environment.
- Performing administrative tasks at the end of each day.
- Meeting monthly targets and KPIs to support clinic success.
Qualifications & Experience
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in customer-facing roles.
- At least 2 years' sales experience, ideally in consumer services, with a track record of meeting KPIs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in clerical and administrative tasks using computers.
- Familiarity with simple database applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and the Internet.
- Some post-secondary education (advantageous but not essential).
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Exceptional customer service abilities to enhance the patient experience.
