Our client is a market-leading company that specialises in the servicing, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems. The company prides itself on providing innovative solutions to customers, making them the best in the business! Covering the London region, you will be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in a technical capacity, delivering expected levels of service, and providing maintenance and repair services for a wide range of refrigeration systems.

The ideal candidate will have a background as a refrigeration engineer, with the ability to read wiring diagrams, troubleshoot, and carry out fault diagnostics.

What's Involved for the Refrigeration Engineer…

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Perform diagnostic tests, identify faults, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Carry out routine preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems.
  • Perform warranty checks and repairs on installed equipment.
  • Manage van stock effectively and ensure necessary spare parts are ordered and accounted for.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Attend meetings and training courses as necessary.
  • Maintain good customer relations and maximise sales opportunities when appropriate.

What You'll Need…

  • MUST have experience as a Refrigeration Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
  • F-Gas certification is a MUST.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
