Heating Engineer

Are you looking for your next Heating Engineer role? A successful contractor are seeking engineers to carry out general maintenance works within properties on one of their multiple social housing contracts.
- Attend calls from residents to rectify their issues
- Isolate property/equipment to carry out repairs and replacements of S/Yplans
- Replace, repair and alter pipework where necessary
- Isolate, drain down, remove and cap leaking radiators / radiators in need of replacement, as well as installation
- Replace motorized valves and immersion heaters within properties
- Install cylinders / thermal stores / water tanks
- Fault finding and maintenance on HIUs
- Diagnose heating and hot water issues within properties / blocks
- Use a PDA system to take pictures and write reports on the works undertaken
- Be a point of call for residents when they are without or lacking services
- Cap and / or replace TRVs / Lockshields/ Wheelheads
Package
- Full time permanent position
- Company PDA, vehicle & fuel card
- Company uniform
- 21 days holiday including bank holidays (1 day increase each year you work with the company)
Essential Criteria
- NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing
- Full UK Driving License
- Good written and verbal communication
