1:1 Teaching Assistant

Reeson Education are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil in a successful Hackney primary school starting September 2025.

Location: Hackney
Start Date: September 2025
End Date: July 2026
Daily Rate: 82.14 - 100

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for a Year 4/5 pupil with additional needs

• Adapt classroom activities to suit the child's individual learning requirements

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress and implement strategies

• Contribute to a positive, supportive classroom environment

• Full-time position until the end of the academic year

• Ofsted Outstanding primary school with a strong child-centred ethos

• Robust SEN provision and excellent support structure for 1:1 Teaching Assistants

• Friendly, experienced staff team committed to inclusive practice

• Highly regarded in the local community with supportive leadership

• Well connected by public transport for easy commuting

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a 1:1 capacity

• Confident managing additional needs and behavioural challenges

• Patient, dependable, and genuinely passionate about education

• Strong communicator with excellent teamwork skills

• Valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
