About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and resilient ABA Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at a welcoming primary school in Haringey. The pupil also displays oppositional defiance traits and can at times be physically and verbally challenging, so a calm, consistent, and confident approach is essential.
This is a part-time position (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) starting ASAP. The successful candidate must have previous experience using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) techniques, ideally within a school or therapeutic setting. You will work closely with the SENCo, class teacher, and external specialists to implement behaviour plans, support communication, and help the pupil engage positively with learning.
