Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, teach, and unleash creative brilliance in dynamic Art lessons across all key stages
  • Encourage students to push the boundaries of their imagination with exciting, hands-on projects
  • Provide personalized feedback to help students refine their craft and develop their artistic identity
  • Innovate and inspire-introduce new techniques and modern mediums to fuel creative growth
  • Create opportunities for students to showcase their talents through art exhibitions, competitions, and projects
  • Collaborate with an energetic team of creatives to make the Arts Department the heart of the school
  • Engage with students outside the classroom through art clubs, creative workshops, and school events

About You:

  • A passionate artist and educator with a qualification in Art and relevant teaching experience (QTS or equivalent)
  • Energetic and inspiring-you know how to captivate and motivate students to explore their creativity
  • Experience teaching Art at secondary school level (Key Stage 3 & 4)
  • You're a creative problem-solver who knows how to make every lesson a work of art
  • Skilled in a variety of artistic techniques, and eager to teach everything from painting to digital design
  • A collaborative team player, ready to bring your own unique artistic flair to the department
  • Enthusiastic about running extra-curricular art clubs, workshops, and projects
