Key Responsibilities – Biology Teacher:

· Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Biology lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5.

· Inspire a love for Science through practical investigations, discussions, and real-world applications.

· Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support and feedback to ensure strong outcomes and meet individual learning needs.

· Contribute to curriculum development, sharing best practices and resources with colleagues.

· Support students in preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations, fostering high aspirations and academic excellence.

· Participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives, including enrichment activities and trips.

Person Specification - Biology Teacher:

· UK QTS required with a strong subject knowledge in Biology and the ability to teach up to KS5 confidently.

· A passionate and dynamic teacher with the ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities.

· A collaborative team player, eager to contribute to a supportive and high-performing Science department.

· A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practice.

· Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
