An enthusiastic and well-qualified Biology Teacher is required to join an Outstanding school in Haringey for a full-time, permanent position commencing in September. You will inspire students across Key Stages 3 to 5 (aged 11-18) with the wonders of the living world.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Foster a curiosity about the natural world and scientific inquiry.
- Assess and track student progress, providing effective feedback.
- Contribute to the wider life of the Science department and the school.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Biology or Science with a strong Biology background.
- Strong knowledge of the KS3-5 Biology curriculum.
- Excellent communication and practical skills.
- A passion for Biology and the ability to make the subject accessible and engaging.
