About the Biology Teacher Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicatedBiology Teacherto join our high-achieving Science department. The successfulBiology Teacherwill have the opportunity to teachBiologyacross Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with engaging lessons and a passion for the subject.

Responsibilities of the Biology Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-qualityBiologylessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to exploreBiologyconcepts and develop their scientific skills.
• Assess and monitor student progress inBiology, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Contribute to the development of theBiologycurriculum and departmental resources.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards ofBiologyteaching.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree inBiologyor a related field.
• Experience teachingBiologyat the secondary level.
• A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum forBiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion forBiologyand a commitment to inspiring students.
