A passionate and knowledgeable BiologyTeacher is required to inspire the next generation of scientists at a distinguished Independent school in Haringey, commencing a permanent full-time position in September. Responsibilities
- They will develop and deliver captivating Biology lessons that align with the Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 curricula.
- The role involves expertly guiding students through diverse biological topics, from cellular biology to ecosystems.
- They will create a dynamic and engaging learning environment that encourages scientific inquiry, practical investigations, and a critical understanding of biological issues.
- Monitoring student progress through effective assessment and providing constructive feedback to nurture their scientific development will be essential.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification with a specialism in Biology or Science with a strong Biology background is essential.
- Experience teaching Biology across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 is highly desirable.
- A comprehensive understanding of biological principles and a commitment to engaging pedagogy are expected.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a laboratory setting effectively are necessary.
