BSL Teaching Assistant - The Role

This school is looking for experienced BSL Teaching Assistants to join their team working with pupils with hearing impairments. For this BSL Teaching Assistant's role, the school ideally would like someone with BSL Level 3 or higher and preferably in a school setting or working with children. The school would like someone who is able to work with children in a 1 to 1 or group setting. This is a long-term role starting ASAP with a potential to be permanent position within the school.

BSL Teaching Assistant - The School

This is a school of the deaf in Haringey, catering to 85 pupils between the ages of 3-16. This school is in a location that isn’t too close from a station so ability to drive is preferred. The school is a school of the deaf catering for pupils with Hearing Impairment needs with pupils all communicating or learning to communicate through BSL. The school has an extensive team that will be helping in the classrooms, making sure that each classroom is well cared for and would like more BSL Teaching Assistants to help with that. This school is currently a Good rated Ofsted school.
