EYFS Teaching Assistant - Complex Needs
Location: Greenwich
Pay: 95-115 per day

Remedy Education are looking for a nurturing and committed EYFS Teaching Assistant to support young children with complex needs at a welcoming primary school in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood development and eager to make a genuine difference in a specialist setting.

The role:

  • Supporting nursery and reception-aged pupils with a range of complex learning, communication, and physical needs

  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to promote engagement, independence, and emotional wellbeing

  • Assisting with routine care needs, including personal care where required

  • Helping to deliver sensory-based and play-led activities

  • Creating a calm, safe, and supportive learning environment

  • Working closely with the class teacher, SEN team, and therapists

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with complex needs, PMLD, or early years SEN

  • Be confident supporting children with communication differences, sensory needs, and developmental delays

  • Be patient, caring, and resilient

  • Have a warm, child-centred approach

  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid Enhanced DBS
