Salary: 90 - 105 per day (depending on experience)

This Graduate Teaching Assistant role is ideal for an aspiring teacher, psychologist, or education professional looking to build classroom experience before pursuing further qualifications.

• Work closely with experienced KS1 teachers and support staff

• Support pupils in phonics, literacy, and numeracy within small groups and 1:1

• Ideal preparation for PGCE, teacher training, or educational psychology courses

• Located a short walk from Bethnal Green Station - excellent transport links

• Join a diverse and vibrant Tower Hamlets school community

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons

• Provide focused academic support for pupils needing extra help

• Encourage pupil participation and support positive behaviour

• Help prepare classroom materials and maintain a stimulating learning space

• Contribute to the wider school community through events and enrichment

• Holds a degree (any subject - education, psychology or English preferred)

• Is enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn in a classroom setting

• Has a genuine interest in working with children in KS1

• Has prior experience working with children (paid or voluntary - desirable)

• Can commit to a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year
