About the Role:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide in-class support to students aged 11-16 across a range of subjects

  • Offer 1:1 or small group interventions to boost academic progress

  • Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson preparation

  • Support students with additional learning needs, including those with SEN or EAL

  • Be a positive role model, helping students to build confidence and resilience



What We're Looking For:

  • A graduate with a 2:2 or above (all subjects considered - education, psychology, English, maths, and science are especially welcome)

  • A genuine interest in working in education and supporting young people

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proactive, reliable, and able to take initiative

  • Experience working with young people (voluntary or paid) is a plus
