Horizon Teachers is working in partnership with a high-achieving secondary school in the heart of Camden to recruit Graduate Teaching Assistants for the 2025/26 academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable classroom experience, support pupils' learning and development, and work alongside outstanding educators.

The Role:
  • As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Provide academic support to students across Key Stages 3 to 4
  • Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and delivery
  • Offer targeted interventions to individuals or small groups
  • Help manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Support students with additional needs to reach their full potential

This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, or individuals looking to build a career in education.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • A degree (minimum 2:2) in any subject
  • A strong interest in working with young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and patient approach to supporting learning
  • Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
