A secondary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint several Graduate Teaching Assistants from September. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are considering a future career in teaching and want hands-on school experience.

The Role:

Full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant

Start date: September

Location: Tower Hamlets

Term-time only, Monday to Friday

Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting pupils across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4

Providing 1:1 and small-group support, including students with SEN

Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom preparation

Helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment

About You:

A recent graduate (any subject welcomed)

Experience working with young people (paid or voluntary), such as tutoring, mentoring, youth work, summer camps or school support

Passionate about education and exploring a route into teaching

Confident, proactive, and enthusiastic

Able to build positive relationships with students and staff
