Your Role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant
Youll work closely with students across all year groups and ability levels, supporting them in class, leading small group interventions, and helping to raise attainment and aspirations. With the guidance of experienced teachers, youll be an essential part of the learning journey, gaining the confidence and experience needed to move into teacher training.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting students in class, including those with additional needs or high ability
- Delivering targeted interventions in core subjects (e.g. Maths, English, Science)
- Preparing resources and assisting with classroom planning and displays
- Building positive relationships with students and helping to raise aspirations
- Participating in whole-school CPD, training and development programmes

- A graduate with a 2:1 degree or higher core subjects preferred, but not essential
- Ideally from a Russell Group or top-tier university
