This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced educator to take on a key leadership role and shape the future of Business and Economics education at the school.

As Head of Business & Economics, you will be responsible for curriculum leadership, staff development, and ensuring excellent outcomes for students across KS4 and KS5.

The role - Head of Business & Economics:

Lead the strategic direction and day-to-day management of the Business & Economics department
Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business Studies at KS4 and Economics at KS5
Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE and A-Level exams
Manage and support a team of subject specialists
Drive standards in teaching, learning, and pupil progress

Essential for the Head of Business & Economics role:

Experience teaching Level 3 BTEC Business
Involvement in curriculum development or teaching and learning initiatives
Contribution to extracurricular activities (e.g., enterprise clubs, competitions)
