The Computer Science department has expanded significantly, now offering both BTEC ICT and GCSE Computer Science, and has achieved strong outcomes since the return of formal exams. The department is dedicated to supporting students in making excellent progress and accessing a wide range of post-16 opportunities.

Head of Computer Science  - Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a committed team to deliver outstanding teaching and ensure excellent student outcomes
• Drive further improvement in the department through collaborative leadership and the introduction of innovative practices.
• Shape the Computer Science curriculum and support both academic and personal growth for all students
• Foster a culture of high expectations, mutual respect, and continuous professional development
• Oversee departmental resources and contribute to the wider school improvement plan
