HLTA – The Role
Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1/Key Stage 2, covering classes in the teacher’s absence.
Deliver engaging small group interventions and booster sessions to help pupils achieve key learning milestones.
Work collaboratively with class teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver targeted learning activities.
Provide 1:1 support for pupils who require additional help, including those with SEN or EAL.
Contribute to assessment, pupil progress tracking, and classroom organisation.

HLTA – Key Requirements
Hold a recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience working at a higher level within a school.
Proven experience supporting or leading lessons across Key Stage 1/2.
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective classroom management.
Confident, proactive, and passionate about supporting children’s learning and well being.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
