We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and highly motivated PMLD Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team in Ware. In this full-time, permanent role, you will support students with profound and multiple learning disabilities and help them achieve their full potential in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
PMLD Teaching Assistant - Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Wandsworth, South East London
Pay: 100 - 115 per day
Sector: Education and Training
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic and emotional support to students with SEN.
- Assist teachers in creating an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
- Work with students in one-on-one or small group settings.
- Collaborate with SENCOs and specialists to implement learning plans.
- Help prepare materials and resources to enhance lessons.
- Support students during lessons, break times, and activities.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about supporting children with SEN.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond to diverse student needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant experience or qualifications in supporting children with SEN (preferred but not essential).
